Lt. Gen Bruce Carlson discusses the need for military protection of our satellite services infrastructure (i.e. GPS, Telecommunications, etc). He argues that the Air Force should assume responsibility for the protection of these satellites in much the same way that the Navy has the ability and duty to escort and protect domestic and allied vessels through hostile seas.
